There are many open source technologies used on the web, from simple code libraries through to advanced web browsers such as Firefox and Google Chrome. I will actively choose open source applications in my work, as the rate of development completely outstrips closed source projects.
I have a keen interest in jQuery, and perform most of my javascript development using the free library.
